1949年初，上海。某纱厂工人在地下党支部书记张世芳（孙铮 饰）领导下，因不满反动资本家剥削压榨，组织起了全厂大罢工。由于对资本家阴险狡诈的本性认识不足，加之工厂内部工贼的破坏，罢工活动一度受阻，工人们的情绪也受到不良干忧。张世芳召集骨干商量对策，她一方面继续发动基层群众，一方面打入黄色工会内部，以便随时了解资本家策略，及时调整斗争方向。再次罢工后，资本家仰仗手拿武器的敌人，对罢工群众进行疯狂镇压。全市工人学生通电声援，最终罢工取得了胜利。解放军的炮声传进了上海，敌人惶惶不可终日，为防止敌人搞破坏，张世芳组织起工人护厂......。An intimate portrait of English punk singer-songwriter and Libertines’ legendary front man, Peter Doherty, as he plunges into the depths of addiction at the very height of his popularity.
