1948年秋，东北野战军向国民党军发动决战，只用52天就解放了东北全境，随即，林彪率领百万大军浩荡入关，彻底改变了全国战场的形势。他们克天津、取武汉、下广西，一直打到海南岛，辽沈战役后不到一年，蒋介石就给赶出了中国大陆，可见东北战争是国共内战的转折点。。刑警普克在抢救被击成重伤的盗窃主犯左小兵时，认识了年轻女医师米朵；米朵曾把左小兵从死亡线上抢救回来，这次却没有成功。左小兵的死深深地打击了米朵，使她对人生的价值产生的怀疑，决定从医院辞职。与此同时，市政府文化局女干部王敏被杀、普克参与调查此案没有找到任何线索，在例行调查中也调查了市政府某局长陈志宇，陈志宇给予很大的配合和支持，但案情没有进展……。A Japanese ghost story adapted from Hearn's "Yuki-Onna"(Kwaidan). Two woodcutters, an old man and his young apprentice, Minokichi get trapped in a snowstorm in the forest and take refuge in a hut. That night, Minokichi is forced to make a bargain that will later be forgotten. Filmed and edited by Michelle. Sets designed & built by Michelle & Kheri.
