At times brutally honest, other times pensive, these athletes' stories reveal the triumph of the human spirit, and the profound and unique connection formed as they overcome the world's fiercest physical and mental obstacles.。该剧由张小花的小说《我就是妖怪》改编，讲述四位非常享受地球平凡生活的外星人隐藏在奇妙社区，过着普通百姓的生活，他们利用自己的超能力解决一系列人类生活中的离奇事件。。弗雷德里克·怀斯曼生于1930年，在耶鲁大学获得法律学位，然后在巴黎做开业律师，以后又回到美国的大学教授法律。1967年放弃律师行当、开始拍摄了第一部纪录片《提提卡蠢事》(Titicul Follies)后，至今三十三年来，拍摄制作有三十余部纪录片，被尊称为美国60年代"直接电影”运动的主要人物。怀斯曼的作品总体风格是以美国的各种机构为题，沿着"用镜头解剖各种机构与人的方式并展示20世纪下半叶的美国综观”的纪录方式、"一条道走下去”。 怀斯曼从出生到现在，一直住在美国波士顿。。
