After 15 years from the release of horror film [REC] the main protagonists analyze the keys to the film, its origin and gestation and the impact of a cinematographic phenomenon that gave way to an unprecedented franchise until that time.。楚留香（狄龙）与一点红（凌云）自从在神水宫杀死了无花和尚后，又回到中原。结识了李玉函（岳华）与柳无眉（井莉）夫妇。在此前后，楚曾遇到连串莫名其妙的事情，后来，楚才知柳身患宿疾，她需要以楚的人头到蝙蝠岛去换取一种药物治病，是以欲置楚于死地，楚亲往蝙蝠岛了解事件，才惊觉阴谋中又有阴谋。。日本各地出现了袭击人类的神秘生物，京王理科大学的医学教授番场宗介对此十分感兴趣，于是前往神秘生物出现的区域调查真相。随着调查的深入，番场宗介发现这一系列生物袭人事件的背后似乎隐藏着更大的阴谋……。
