本剧讲述了一个男人和女人的买房罗曼史。这是一部致力于讨论“对于你来说家是怎样的存在？有着什么样的意义？”的电视剧，希望传达给观众高度共鸣及温暖安慰。。本作は、深川所属の芸能プロダクション「株式会社テンカラット」が設立25周年という節目に熊澤監督とタッグを組み、制作を企画したもの。『ユリゴコロ』や『ごっこ』でメガホンを取った熊澤監督が、自身の小説『おもいで写眞』（幻冬舎文庫）を実写映画化。“人が生きる豊かさと年を重ねる美しさ”をテーマに、夢に敗れ故郷へ戻った主人公・結子（深川）が祖父の残した写真館で遺影写真を撮り始め、その中で成長していく様を描き出す。。An astronaut named Gary and his planet-destroying sidekick called Mooncake embark on serialized journeys through space in order to unlock the mystery of where the universe actually ends and if it actually does exist.
