在东洋第一的娱乐街·歌舞伎町经营着没有招牌的杂货店的李（森山未来饰），接二连三收到了各种各样的事件。事件中有着各种各样动机的人们蠢蠢欲动，必须一边解读背景一边寻找起因。因为如果不这样做，纠纷就会无谓地扩大，根本无法解决。落点是从经验和直觉中导出的。年轻时的李，有过因为判断失误而失去同居恋人的经验…。Dr. Braun is forbidden to practice medicine because he's a Jew living in Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia. He's old, seems resigned about the fate of the Jews, and even works in the Department of Confiscation of Jewish Property. One day a neighbor asks him to assist a wounded political fugitive. Dr. Braun reluctantly operates to remove the bullet, but warns that plenty of morphine ...。
