本片讲述导演自己的童年故事。一个9岁巴黎男孩因为母亲外出生孩子，在夏天被寄托到乡下一处友人家。这家夫妇虽然宠爱他，但各有怪癖，而且不停唠叨他们几年前去世的孩子。一个有男生性格的女孩使他从怪圈中逃脱出来，进而他也帮助那对夫妇克服丧子的痛楚。。墨白身为修仙门派天机门的大弟子，天赋异禀却不好好修仙，一心只想吃遍天下美食。因缘际会中，墨白与妖怪厨师小黑、师妹星红，三人一起组成美食小队，遍历天下寻找异兽美食，却在这旅途中，无意间发现了当年人妖动乱的秘密……。Alani and Gabriel are a couple of vampires tired of life together.
